Hey! So if you're like me and cannot afford to buy photoshop there are plenty of FREE alternatives all over the internet. Whether its for creating digital art or editing photographs. So, I've been looking for a while and I have found some good, free alternatives to photoshop which are actually very similar, around £40 cheaper and of course do the job pretty damn well! Firstly, if you focus on digital art, my top recommendation would be www.sumopaint.com ; there is a 'Pro' upgrade available for purchase too for those who may have some spare cash the'y'd like to spend. Sumopaint it very similar to photoshop and has many tools and lovely brushes you can work with and its FREE (or optionally purchasable)!
The best website i have found for editing photographs is called Pixlr found at
pixlr.com/editor/. Again, Pixlr is very similar to photoshop, although it may not be as complex to use or may not have as many tools. I found this an awesome site to use though and it makes for great edits and again ITS A BARGAIN COSTING YOU NOTHING!! It comes with layers, tools, editing options, brushes and most things you'd expect from a program like photoshop. I also find a nice little editor on the same site which gives old vintage effects to your photographs with cools frames and colours and i love this. It's easy and fun to use and makes photos a little bit more joyful and full of life!
pixlr.com/o-matic/.
Another, less professional and more for fun free photo editor can be found on lunapic.com with cool effects and decor to play around with. Lastly, the photo storage site called tinypic.com also comes with a groovy editor to quickly tweak your photos!
Even if you're a massive are unprofessional at editing or just starting up or even just looking to tweek some photos and have some fun with editing; these sites are all free and will help you further develop your editing skills and overall they are great! They are free to use so why not give them a try? I hope this helps you all, happy editing! xxxxxxxx
